More than an area code

941. It's the area code for Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee counties — the stretch of Florida Gulf Coast that runs from Anna Maria Island down through Englewood. But to the people who grew up here, it's an identity.

We started 941 Collective because we wanted to wear that identity. Not a tourist souvenir. Not a generic beach brand. Something that actually meant something to the people who call this coast home — or who found their way here and never left.

We use premium blanks and print locally. If it doesn't hold up to salt air and sun, it doesn't ship.

Meet the Founder

Joey Rafaniello

"I moved back home after college and something just clicked. I realized how much I love this place — and I wanted to build something that showed it."

Joey Rafaniello was born and raised in Sarasota County, growing up immersed in the local t-shirt printing business. He learned the craft from the ground up, spending years around the presses, the ink, and the people who made it all run.

After college, Joey came back home and felt a pull toward the place he grew up. That sentimental appreciation for the Gulf Coast — its coastline, its culture, its community — became the spark for 941 Collective. A brand built to showcase where he's from, and to give everyone who loves this stretch of Florida a way to wear it.
